Sencha Teabags

+ Detail
Origin:Shizuoka, Japan
Dimensions:Triangular teabag: 3 dimensional, 1 inch each side.
Size:2 grams per teabag
Types of Tea:Green tea

This teabag contains loose leave Sencha green tea from Japan. The triangular shape of this teabag allows the tea inside the bag to expand to maximize flavor.

This sencha is from a mountainous area outside of Shizuoka-city, Shizuoka prefecture, it uses leaves that are small and stemmed after plucking. They are then dried in a rolling dryer, shaped and dried again thoroughly.

Directions for the perfect cup of tea: Pour hot water (90C-95C)in a cup(6oz) and put a teabag in it. Steep for a half minute. Move the teabag up and down slowly for 5 to 6 times for the perfect infusion. Then remove the teabag. If you steep over a minute, the taste will get bitter.
