Rinsing Tea


Rinsing the tea is just a precaution that we suggest our customers to do. After the drying process the tea is never washed again and dirt or dust might get on it during packing. Thus, we recommend our customers to rinse the tea before consuming.

Here is how it's done...

Use a teapot with a strainer, then put tea in strainer, pour water (at the temperature stated) over the tea and quickly (within 1 or 2 seconds) pour out the excess liquid and then infuse tea normally.

This helps to wash away the dirt and it also brings out the tasted during the first infusion.
